Santa Clara Parish Health
Ministry
Santa Clara Parish Health Ministry is a partnership
between Saint John's Regional Medical Center and Santa Clara Parish. Our goal as
health ministers is to achieve and maintain wellness of our parish communities
by treating the parishioners mind, body and spirit.
Anointing of the Sick
We have Anointing of the Sick and healing Prayers following the 12:30pm mass
on the last Sunday of each month
What Is Health Ministry?
The purpose of health ministry is assisting parish members in caring for one
another, by helping to attain, maintain, and/or regain complete wholeness of the
body, mind and spirit. The ministry of Jesus Christ is our model.
This is achieved through the help of parishioners from the healthcare
professions and other lay ministers.
These health ministers form a health committee, combining their knowledge and
experience to respond to the health needs of the congregation and the
surrounding community.
